Cincinnati, Ohio – The Clark Montessori Cougars enter the 2025 football season projected to finish second in the Miami Valley Conference Grey Division, just behind Cincinnati Country Day.
The Cougars will kick off their season on Saturday, August 23rd, against a tough non-conference opponent, the Aiken Falcons, at Stargel Stadium. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
“We want to see where we are coming out of the gate. This game will prepare us for the tough competition we’ll see in league play,” said Clark Montessori Athletic Director Derek Williams.
Despite losing a large portion of their offense to graduation and the injury of returning running back Eshawn Johnson—who averaged 11.0 yards per carry on 28 attempts last season and was expected to take on a bigger role in 2025—the Cougars will still look to establish their ground game.
Offensively, key returners include:
QB/DB Bryhaun Ramsey
QB Amir Lawson
TE/DE Dezmond Mitchell
OL/DL Ezra Grisby
OL/DL Dacian Staub
OL/LB Tyler Coggins
WR Mikel Larkin
WR Jayden Murray
On defense, the unit will be anchored by Jamier Johnson, a First Team All-Conference linebacker and the team’s leading tackler, who will lead a determined Cougar defense into the 2025 campaign.
