Miami Valley Christian Academy hit Clark Montessori with a four-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cougars lost 12-2 to the Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 10-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Clark Montessori saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jahlil Meatchem, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Clark Montessori now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

While Clark Montessori had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
