Cincinnati, Ohio – After a couple of rainstorms, the weather cleared and the Lady Cougars were finally able to take the field to kick off the 2025 season.

Clark fell behind early, giving up two quick goals in the first half, but regrouped at halftime and came out fighting in the second. The Lady Cougars created several strong scoring opportunities but just missed finding the back of the net. Despite their hard-fought effort, they came up short against a talented Cincy Spirit squad.

With the loss, the Lady Cougars move to 0-1 on the season. They will return to action on Thursday when they travel to Finneytown High School to take on the Wildcats. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
